  • Do you accept mixed occupancy?

     

    Honeycomb has a healthy appetite for mixed-use risks. We do not write commercial real estate risks that do not have habitational components.

    Any of the following LRO exposures within mixed-use are outside of our appetite under Honeycomb's admitted insurance program: full service dry cleaners, laundromats, restaurants or commercial cooking exposures, liquor stores or business that sell alcohol, gambling or casinos, activity centers or lounges, religious organizations and places of worship, supervision-of-A-minor exposers, cellphone stores, high foot-traffic occupancies, marijuana dispensaries grow facilities, vaping, tobacco or smoke-related stores or businesses, auto-repair shops, fitness studios, gyms, yoga studios, cross-fit, chiropractic or physical therapy. 

     

  • Can I include multiple locations on a single policy?

     

    At this time we are not able to write multi location schedules. You can submit multiply buildings if they're next to each other and the requested building limit does not exceed $10M TIV in total.

     

  • Do you offer a coverages for individual units?

     

    We don’t offer HO-6 or HO-3 policies at this time.

     

  • What is your Program capacity?

     

    We will be taking a pass on accounts where the Amount Subject exceeds our program capacity of $10M.
    Amount Subject is the sum of the following for each location or collective of building/locations when viewing an apartment or condo complex:

     

    1. Building Limit
    2. Business Personal Property Limit
    3. Business Income/Extra Expense Limit
    4. Detached Garage/Structures Limit
    5. Ordinance or Law - Coverage B Limit
    6. Ordinance or Law - Coverage C Limit
    7. Hexagon: $125,000 should be added to the amount subject when added to quote
