How can I submit a quote?

I submitted a quote but I didn't get a proposal, why is that?
In some cases, before releasing a bindable proposal, we might need to ask you a few additional questions to guarantee you get all of the best coverage and price. In case your quote is waiting to be referred please expect that our agent will reach out to you directly.

My quote was referred, what now?
Once reviewed you will be notified by email. If approved a proposal be generated and appear in your dashboard in the "Proposals" section.
Real-time visibility to your spot in your underwriter-specific referral queue is available in the Quotes tab next to the Referral status or in the quote submission.

Can I add a coverage for a detached garage?
Yes, you are able to include a garage while submitting a quote. During the application process on the step focused on "Property Details" you need to provide us with the information regarding the number of parking spaces available in that garage. If the garage is detached, you also need to mark this option on the step dedicated to "Facilities & Usage". You can watch it happen here.

Can I edit the effective date or named insured in the quote?
Yes. In the quote’s summary card you have the option to ‘edit information’.
When you click it you can select a new effective date with a limit of 90 days from the submission date and edit the named insured. Make sure to click save.
Once updated, and in case there is an open or expired proposal, you should click the ‘Generate proposal w/ new effective date’ button under the proposals card. -
Can I edit a submission?
Yes. Edit any field in your unbound submission from the 'Edit Information' button on the submission page.
You have the option to adjust the effective date and named insured as needed. For other alterations, simply click on the "Need to edit other information?" button.
You can then select the category you wish to edit. This action will direct you to the relevant page within the submission flow. Feel free to navigate between pages if multiple adjustments are required.
Please note: Any changes made beyond the effective date or named insured for a submission in the "open" status will necessitate review by an underwriter before it can be bound.

Can I submit multiple buildings?
You can submit multiple buildings if they're next to each other and the requested building limit does not exceed $10M TIV in total. You can watch it happen here.

Can I add extra coverages?
Yes. In the submission flow you’ll have the option to select from a list of extra coverages, including:
- Water Backup / Sump Overflow
- Equipment Breakdown
- Directors & Officers
- Employee Benefits Liability
- Hired And Non-Owned Auto
The extra coverages are also available for selection or editing after you complete the submission flow.
